Maurice (1987)


Maurice is a James Ivory film based on the novel of same title by E. M. Forster.
The main Character Maurice is a Cambridge student from rich family.
But after a short affair with senior student Clive, he gets dropped out of Uinversity. And he hegitates to accept his sexual desire for men.
But while staying at Clive's, he has a visitor at night, Alec, a gamekeeper who works for Clive.
They make love and at the end they decide to live together whatever it may bring.
I saw this film when I was a Uinversity student.
I could relate to Maurice so much and the movie really shook me up and down.
I read the book in English before the book got translated into Korean.
I bought the book in Korean, as soon as they released it.
I bought the DVD from a British online shop, maybe Blackstar or something.
So you can tell I'm a huge fan of this book and this movie.
And lucky me that one of my friends got me two 'Maurice' books in English.

I came across two sites introducing gay beaches in Japan. Of course there are not enough infomations, but both of them mentioned "Tsurishi-kaigan" or "Tsurushi-kaigan" which means "angler's beach" literally. It is a secret beach in Chiba, surrounded by sea and cliffs. There's no other way to reach but through a small cave made for local anglers. So it's not safe and not easy to go to this place. And the place is not close to the nearest railroad station, Namihana(浪花) station. This place is not an official gay beach nor nude beach. But the surroundings around this area make it almost perfect place for gays. Korean Bara artist, Unspoken

Another Korean bara arist that I came across at X (former Twitter), Unspoken . As you can see, he's very skilled in drawing and using colors and such. He seems to upload his steamy comics in Patreon from time to time. When I first found his artwork at Twitter, I thought he and Huntersmell  are the same person. ( Click  "Huntersmell" above to read my previous posting on Huntersmell. ) I detected some similarities in their drawing styles. But who can be sure? Thank that I have found another talented bara artist. That's what matters.

Most recent comics from Jiraiya

According to Japanese Wikipedia, the most recent comics from Jiraiya are following: 青い空 入道雲 通り雨【前編】（216号 2014年1月） 青い空 入道雲 通り雨【後編】（217号 2014年2月） 恋人たちのありふれたやりとり（236号 2015年9月） (c) Jiraiya (from his personal blog) This seems to be the cover page of first comics (part 1 and 2), whose title seems to mean "blue sky, fleecy clouds, and passing rain." Jiraiya explains on his blog that A(on the left) lives with C(on the left) and B(in the middle) is a father of C. I don't know how the story would go. And the following image is one of scenes of second comics, whose title seems to mean "lovers' very common give and take" or something. (c) Jiraiya (from his personal blog) As you can see, it has been a while since he published new comic. But my post on his comic is one of the most popular posts among mine and this motivated me to write this article. He regularly updates his works and everything on his personal blog but only in JAPANESE. :) Happy new year, guys.
