I came across two sites introducing gay beaches in Japan.
Of course there are not enough infomations, but both of them mentioned "Tsurishi-kaigan" or "Tsurushi-kaigan" which means "angler's beach" literally.
It is a secret beach in Chiba, surrounded by sea and cliffs.
There's no other way to reach but through a small cave made for local anglers.
So it's not safe and not easy to go to this place.
And the place is not close to the nearest railroad station, Namihana(浪花) station. This place is not an official gay beach nor nude beach.
But the surroundings around this area make it almost perfect place for gays.
So if you're ready for all the troubles, read on. :)
First, you can get to Namihana (浪花) stationhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Namihana_Station via JR.
If you start from Tokyo, you can go to Chiba station via JR Sobu Line.
And then you can reach Namihana station via JR Sotobo Line(the next station from Ohara station).
And from the platform take the pedestrian overpass to pass the station(very small) and then go passing by a local post office and go straight to reach another crossroad equipped with another pedestrian overpass (At one of the corner, there's is a primary school).
At the crossroad, cross the road and take the narrow road and pass by the primary school(on your left) till another crossroad where you can find a road sign to a temple/cemetry(on your right).
You should turn right to the temple(small road begins) and walk on passing the temple and from there you should walk almost 30 minutes till you come across another crossroad between a small road and a main road.
You should cross the road and go into the bushes.
You could find some path even though it's not an official road.
You can come acroos two warning post saying that "this area is for local fisherman only" or "dangerous", if you are on the right path.
Go straight till you find a small cave.
Be careful, it's very dark and very slippery.
And if you're through out of the cave, the cliff and harmful bushes are waiting for you.
So you should wear long sleeves and long trousers to protect yourself from scracth from the rocks and plants.
And you should carry enough food and water, cause there's no shop inside the beach.
This place is getting busy around 11:00 and getting secluded from 15:00, I read.
So if you want to see some crowd, you should hurry from morning.
And you'd better visit this place on holidays. Cause, it's not probable that this beach is crowded on workdays.
