Just friends? (2009, Korea)

Just Friends is the 2nd film by Kwang-su Kim-jo, the director of "Boy meets a boy" and producer of "No Regret".
His 1st film "Boy meets a boy" deals with the love between teenagers.
The director says that he was frequentely asked if he was doing the sequel to it.
"Just Friends" could be one in a way that it deals with love between friends in their 20's.

In Korean, the title of this movie is "Chin-gu-sa-i".
It's also the name of a famous LGBT organization of Korea.
The name also express the status of Korean minorities who cannot fully express their relationship with their same-sex partner.
Instead of saying "We're lovers", they tend to answer "Us? We're just friends" if asked.

Back to the movie,
In Korea, most men in their 20s has to serve in the army for 2 years.
It can be hard for anyone, but it can be harder for gays and trans-gendereds.
The movie starts with a man who visits his lover in the base.
When they need to be together, the soldier's mother also visits him unexpectedly.
So what's going to happen to this couple?
Could they spend their own private time?

(Map updated!!!) Japanese Gay Beach 釣師海岸(Tsurishi-kaigan/Tsurushi-kaigan)

I came across two sites introducing gay beaches in Japan. Of course there are not enough infomations, but both of them mentioned "Tsurishi-kaigan" or "Tsurushi-kaigan" which means "angler's beach" literally. It is a secret beach in Chiba, surrounded by sea and cliffs. There's no other way to reach but through a small cave made for local anglers. So it's not safe and not easy to go to this place. And the place is not close to the nearest railroad station, Namihana(浪花) station. This place is not an official gay beach nor nude beach. But the surroundings around this area make it almost perfect place for gays. Newest comic by Jiraiya

I did not know till today that Jiraiya released his newest comic, Two Hoses, a story about two firemen, through Big Gym (in Japan) and Massive (in US). The picture above is from Big Gym (a gay store chain in Japan) twitter. As you can see, this comic seemed to be based on his previous artwork, which was used for several items. (I really love this artwork, even though I generally love his artwork. Actually I love all of his artworks.) The 2nd image seems to be a promotional postcard. And the 3rd image is the US version of the comic. The image is from Massive.

According to Japanese Wikipedia, the most recent comics from Jiraiya are following: 青い空入道雲通り雨【前編】（216号 2014年1月）青い空入道雲通り雨【後編】（217号 2014年2月）恋人たちのありふれたやりとり（236号 2015年9月） (c) Jiraiya (from his personal blog) This seems to be the cover page of first comics (part 1 and 2), whose title seems to mean "blue sky, fleecy clouds, and passing rain." Jiraiya explains on his blog that A(on the left) lives with C(on the left) and B(in the middle) is a father of C. I don't know how the story would go. And the following image is one of scenes of second comics, whose title seems to mean "lovers' very common give and take" or something.
